Change Ain't Easy

 So far I've been forced to change my diet. This is because I just had a double root canal yesterday and I'm on a "soft food" diet. This morning I had a veggie skillet with eggs, broccoli, cheese, tomatoes and hash browns. I had to season to taste because I couldn't have NO MEAT! For lunch I had a banana and now I'm waiting on an Italian Beef dipped with cheese, hopefully it will be soggy enough for me to just swallow.  The Italian beef was good it took me two days to finish it I've been eating a lot of cereal and eggs but now it's almost time to eat again I can eat solid foods I just can only chew on one side of my mouth hallelujah!

The plan today is smoothie/coffee for breakfast, soup for lunch & cereal for dinner. I'll take celery & Nutella for snack! 
Well I had a TV dinner for lunch bed & bell peppers w/rice and an Banquet Apple Pie, for dinner I had leftover breakfast gyro skillet and Ice Tea. 

Wed 4/2 - I got my coffee! Didn't have any yesterday just the smoothie. Got get groceries for more smoothies. My plan is a frozen bean burrito for lynch and cereal for dinner.

Tue 4/8 - well it's been a full week and I must say it's not as hard id thought it would be. I've had no fried food but I did have beef pizza a few days ago (I don't eat port sausage) it was a family pizza so I couldn't just get veggie. Getting the hang of baking/broiling my fish & chicken. I feel better too. Last night I ate off a saucer, baby steps but so worth it!

Thu 4/10 Sometimes I wonder if this change in diet effects my sleeping habits. I fell asleep before 9 pm but wide awake at 1am. I had a bowl of Kellog's Corn Flakes w/banana and it was sooo good! Gonna try to stay on this cereal for the rest of this month. I have not gotten on the scale yet not sure if I want to. I started with my cowbell a few days ago and I did one set with my resistance band (baby steps) before I know it I'll be back on my Yoga Matt! 

Sat 4/12 So to encourage myself to drink more water I've added lemon juice, tangerine and cucumber slices, maybe this will help, so far so good only I ran out of lemon juice today so was just tangerine and cucumber slices and a dab of sugar.

This eating healthy is catching on even though I've eaten in a few restaurants it's going okay. I feel the difference (bad) when I eat out. Like right now I'm starving and I'll eat anything to quench my hunger, which is dangerous. So we'll see what my choices will be today.

This water thing really works to regulate my glucose levels. Yesterday while at work my levels plunged (75ml) and I realized I didn't have my water with me. So now I'm taking it EVERYWHERE fro now own. I've cheated these past couple of days going to McD's and I can feel the difference. One day I'll be able to resist these bad fast food restaurants. I still haven't lost any weight but I haven't gained any either.

Went to court today and the judge gave the ok for the kids to go home on June 19th just gotta wait for the Petition to be filed and Motioned up in court, until them I'm fasting from meat except for FISH. #36Daysandcounting

Well I survived the fish only diet, I cheated 2-3 times but I made it! I also learned that this diet is a lifestyle called Pesacatrian - a vegetarian that includes fish in their diet. Court was held today and they have been officially awarded back to their Mom! They leave tomorrow :-) :-( it's bittersweet.
